Dude you live in Bucks County? I was just out that way two weeks ago!

Haha yeah! :) I live right off 95, near the NJ/PA border/Delaware River :) Where were you in this fine county, if you don’t mind my asking? And where do you live in PA?

I was a bit past 95. All I know is that I passed a Wawa and rode by a Jimmy John’s and a steak house (whose name escapes me…it’s a popular one. Why am I blanking?)
I’m out here in Philly. It’s a ride away but it’s not too bad…maybe what, 15, 20 miles?

Not too bad at all! Getting into Philly is easy for me, hop on the train and I can be at Market Street/30th/Suburban Station in about an hour. :)

You’re making me want to ride out one day to lift with you!

Let’s get some good talks going. Comic books? Star Wars? Math? Food?

Star Wars let’s gooooo

I read your tag bro. So let’s get into this.
I think that this first one (Episode VII) is gonna be the feeling out movie. Apparently they’re gonna be searching for the missing Luke Skywalker (at least from what I read online…Mark Hamill is in it).
I’d love to judge long-term what the movies will be like, but Disney is going with an original story and not following the books. So we may not see Anakin Solo. Sad life.

Have you had to deal with "True Fan" questioning? I recently went on a date and I had mentioned off-hand I was a bit of a geek. The second the words were out of my mouth I was cut off with "Okay, but are you really?" and was then quizzed on my comics/LoTR/80s Movies knowledge. I never claimed to be an expert, but it seems (especially for women) if you don't know every detail you're kicked out of the "fan" club. I see it in a lot of fandoms, but comics is particularly bad.

ALL the time. It’s annoying as hell. Some people act as if you either are a diehard or you’re not real. I got it particularly bad when Cap 2 was coming around. I got all of the “dude do you even know anything about Captain America?” And I ruined the entire movie for several people before it even came out. I hate it though. “Who did this? Who did that?” I’ve personally gotten it the absolute worst with Harry Potter. If I even said “oh, I like Harry Potter”, it’s gone off into testing me about every single page of every book. It’s nuts.

Whats your favourite cuisine? What'd you grow up eating?
Anonymous

My favorite cuisine…I don’t know. I’m a basic dude. Get me three large cheese pizzas and a large soda and I’m set.
I grew up eating a lot of stuff. Just not a lot of pork. Lots of other meat. Just no pork.

Fun fact: if you approach an employee and insist that they go ‘check the back’ for an item that’s not on the shelf, there is a 90% chance that they’ll go to the back room, scratch their ass and check their text messages for five minutes, and come back out with a sympathetic smile and a ‘Sorry!’ because they know without even looking that the stock isn’t there.

Or the old “can you ask a manager?”
